Sakura
Sakura is one of a most beautiful flower in Japan and have much to do with Japanese culture. There are a lot of Sakura tree varieties, and Someiyoshino is most popular as ornamental.
In Japan, you can see so many Sakura trees anywhere, even in downtown Tokyo. However, these flowers bloom only a few days in spring. So, many Japanese people celebrate blooming and have a Hanami party under the trees. This is one of a traditional event in Japan.
