Communication with the world
On periscope, I have met a wonderful group of friends from so many different countries including England, France, America, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Russia. I don’t think it would have been possible to get to know them if it wasn’t for Periscope.
Periscope is a smartphone app that allows you to do live broadcasts. People from all over the world can join and watch my broadcasts. I couldn’t speak English very well, but English people are constantly sending comments, so I try my best to speak in English.
In order to communicate with people all over the world, here are 3 things to think about:
A) Drawing pictures and letters (in the language of your country)
People want their names in Russian and Korean, but that happens rarely. I write their names with a brush pen.
B)Broadcasting every day is good, even for a little while.
By broadcasting every day, it’s more likely that the same people will keep coming back to watch. From there, you can exchange your social network accounts and new projects can be born.
C)Expressing your feelings is important! Use hand gestures and facial expressions!
The most important thing is to tell people how you feel! I have to express my sentences so that those who can’t speak English can understand from my gestures and facial expressions.
