About Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has many buildings surrounded like a huge lake, just like Universal Studios Orlando (USO).

This year, the park has been celebrating its 15th anniversary. It has been extended and refurbished many times since it opened.

When I was there, the Jurassic Park area had been closed for renovation.

USJ has some shows and attractions exclusive to the park, like the Water World show and the Back to the Future ride.

Recently, for a limited time only, a Kyary Pamyu Pamyu-themed virtual reality ride opened, which has been very popular amongst park visitors.

Every year USJ collaborates with various different anime and games, making themed attractions based on them.
